Interpretive
Planning

Certified Interpretive Planner with the National Association for Interpretation. I help organizations set measurable goals and objectives and define a target audience. I establish key messages and themes to communicate content in engaging and surprising ways.

Content Development

I transform facts into a narrative experience that visitors can explore in a physical space. I examine the information provided by clients about their resources, topics, and audiences, and supplement it with additional web and text based research.

Interpretive
Writing

I write interpretive text for graphic panels. I consider the target audience, reading level, and both physical and intellectual accessibility per each type of panel. Additionally, I communicate interpretive plans, content research, or design concepts in written reports, visitor narratives, a content matrix, or other content tables as the information is further refined.

Workshop Facilitation

Working with internal team members, as well as Indigenous Elders, cultural consultants, community members, and other stakeholders, I lead workshops (in-person, or virtually) in an inclusive and non-intimidating environment. Each workshop enables participants to discover shared goals, and provide their say on essential matters to shape the overall direction of the project.

Project
Coordination

I manage communications between an interdisciplinary project team consisting of: 2D and 3D designers, project managers, media consultants, architects, curators, educators, and stakeholders. I ensure all information is directed to the appropriate team members and coordinate a punctual yet flexible working methodology between all team members.

Marketing &
Bid Writing

I evaluated incoming proposals and wrote bid responses to RFPs and IDIQs. I attend pre-bid meetings both virtually and in-person, and attend interviews on behalf of my employer. I formed connections with potential clients and maintained existing professional relationships.
